L4 Security Names New Training Director

L4 Security Group has named Barry Blair their L4 Security Academy Training Director. With 35 years of experience in law enforcement and safety, Blair will be spearheading programs from active shooter awareness to "Handle With Care" de-escalation techniques and so much more!

He brings an unprecedented amount of experience to the L4 team including positions as a Kentucky State Police Trooper/SWAT who planned and/or participated in over 650 operational deployments/missions and Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training (DOCJT) (2010-2023) Academy Instructor. As an instructor, he primarily taught active shooter response and rapid deployment techniques.

Throughout his career, Blair has earned many accolades for his service, including the Medal of Bravery, Governor's Medal of Valor, Master Trooper, and over 20 official Letters of Commendation at the DOCJT - Professional Achievement Award (2015). We are excited to have him share his expertise and knowledge with the communities we serve throughout the U.S.!
